Let’s get this started
My name is John Gowin, and I’m going to be your host at the Kentuckiana Hiker’s Review. When I created this blog, I imagined a resource for all of the hikers in Kentuckiana. A site where you could find out current trail conditions, share trail stories, and read reviews of outdoor gear. I also hope the community will share photographs of the beauty and wonder of hiking in Kentuckiana.
In addition to the trails in Kentucky and Indiana, we’ll include trail reviews across this great nation, from the Appalachian Trail to the Pacific Crest Trail, the Smokies to the Sierra Nevadas and much more.
This blog is just a start, but the time to start is now.
